Committee
The International Federation on Construction History is formed to:
- provide a forum to enable co-operation between recognised Societies of Construction History;
- to recognise new societies;
- to organise the International Congresses on Construction History which occur every three years and move from place-to-place.
The Federation is run by a committee that consists of a representative from each of the constituent societies together with up to two co-opted members who are elected annually and who the committee consider may help in their aims.
The Committee for 2024 is:
- James W. P. Campbell Representative of the Construction History Society
- Santiago Huerta Representative of Sociedad Española de Historia de la Construcción (Spain)
- Robert Carvais Representative of Association francophone d’histoire de la construction (France)
- Benjamin Ibarra-Sevilla Representative of The Construction History Society of America (USA)
- Christiane Weber Representative of Gesellschaft für Bautechnikgeschichte (Germany)
- Joao Mascarenhas-Mateus Representative of Sociedade Portuguesa De Estudos De História Da Construção (Portugal)

- Clemens Knobling
Meetings
The committee meets at least once a year for its AGM. The AGM for 2024 will be held in Zurich at the International Congress. Other meetings are held as required.
